Flu vaccinations - patients aged 65 and over - we are contacting patients in this age group to arrange appointments

- patients under 65 who are eligible for a flu injection because of a health condition will be invited to a flu clinic once we have a confirmed delivery date for the vaccine for this cohort of patients (expected early November).

NHS England have advised that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then.  This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first.

However if you are aged 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination because you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.

Because of Coronavirus we are going to be working differently to reduce risk of infection for patients and staff
