Infection Prevention & Control Quality Statement

Infection Prevention & Control Quality Statement

At Bellingham Practice we assess and manage the risk of infection as a priority within our Practice.  We detect and control the risk of it spreading and share any concerns with appropriate agencies promptly.

At Bellingham Practice there is an effective approach to assessing and managing the risk of infection, which is in line with current relevant national guidance.

People are protected as much as possible from the risk of infection because premises and equipment are kept clean and hygienic.

There are clear roles and responsibilities within the Practice around infection prevention and control and Information about the risk of infection is shared appropriately with relevant partners, including agencies, people using the service and visitors.

We are committed to ensure all service users and staff feel safe and are supported to understand and manage any infection control risk.

As a GP Practice we would like to share our Annual Statement on Compliance with IPC (Infection Prevention Control) in General Practice.  Please contact the Practice if  this is something you would like to review.
